One of the large difficulties for an artist beginning is that to precisely evaluate a watercolour for a first exposure… Is your price is too low or on the contrary too high?

Recover to the opinion from its entourage or randomly fix a price, is generally not the good solution.

- Format, price of paper, master key everywhere, etc
- Include the price of the framework.
- Time and investment which this painting required of you
- Time, training courses which you carried out, like your level of technical skill. (your watercolour, is neither a postcard nor a poster drawn in several thousands from specimens).

Price

To sell at low prices is surely not a solution! You are, neither printer nor second-hand dealer. Moreover it is the best way to devalue your work and that of the others.

Once the fixed price, avoid changing it according to the place or your mood of the moment, unless being "famous"...

For work by commission, all must be fixed from the beginning between the customer and the artist for avoid all unpleasant surprises a side like other.

Travailler pour des gens, toujours insatisfaits et indécis, transformera vite votre plaisir de peindre en cauchemar. Un climat de confiance, doit s'installer dès le départ, votre travail mérite le respect. Fuyez les snobs et prétentieux présents dans certains milieux artistiques.
