Many pigments have the characteristic to be very luminous, among those: the pink permanent, terre de sienne brûlée, green gold, or Prussian blue.

Placed judiciously, even in very small keys, they bring much light in a watercolour. To use in places or logic would order you not to do it.
sometimes I use the Prussian blue in the shades of my portraits, they often give me an interesting light.
